    About the role

     

    As a CBRE Program Sr. Manager, you will manage a series of initiatives and assemble teams responsible for facilitating medium to large, complex, cross-functional projects and programs and the associated team.

     

    This job is part of the Facilities Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major client initiatives.

     

    This role is for a Media and Telecom Sector Company, working fully on-site Monday-Friday in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

    What you’ll do

    + Lead and manage a Demand Based Facilities Management (“DBFM”) program.

    + Develop, evaluate and implement DBFM cost savings initiatives across client properties.

    + Oversee large cross-functional projects or programs from end to end using a formal process.

    + Ensure that all functions remain on schedule and any issues get raised and resolved so that the program gets completed on time.

    + Manage internal and external relationships in support of programs.

    + Work with key collaborators to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.

    + Create & distribute routine PMO reports, which include status reports and updated Gantt charts.

    + Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

    + Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

    + Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

    + Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.

    + Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

    What you’ll need

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred

    + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

    + The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.

    + Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Facilities Manager position is $130k and the maximum salary for the Sr Facilities Manager position is $150k. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
