    BayCare is currently in search of our newest **Diabetes Nurse Educator** who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

    Positions details:

    + Location South Florida Baptist

    + **Status:** Part time, hourly

    + **Shift:** Tuesday/Thursday, 8am-4pm

    + Occasional weekends

    + **On Call:** no

    + Always in person

    The **Diabetes Nurse Educator** has experience in diabetes self-management training.

     

    + The position will implement clinical and education programs.

    + Be responsible for quality improvement.

    + Research activities and be an expert resource for both patients and providers.

    + The position may also be responsible for the ADA Recognized Program process and community support programs.

    + team members in the position are required to get certified (CDCES – Diabetes) within two years of their hire date/transfer date.

    Requirements:

    + Registered Nurse License (RN) is required

    + Bachelor's Degree in a related field

    + 2 years of Registered Nurse experience is required

    + CDCES certification- preferred
