    Job Title: Concrete Superintendent Job Description

     

    The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all concrete-related activities on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in concrete construction, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams and subcontractors.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage day-to-day concrete operations including forming, pouring, finishing, and curing.

    + Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

    + Supervise and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.

    + Provide training and mentorship to field personnel.

    + Develop and maintain work schedules to meet project milestones.

    + Coordinate with other trades and project managers to avoid conflicts and delays.

    + Inspect work to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

    + Identify and resolve issues related to concrete placement and finishing.

    + Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections.

    + Promote a culture of safety and accountability.

    + Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and material tracking.

    + Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status and issues.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

    + Strong knowledge of concrete materials, methods, and equipment.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    + OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.

    + Experience with both large and small projects.

    This position involves on-site management of projects, requiring a hands-on approach to overseeing concrete operations.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Garner, North Carolina.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
