    Job Title: Test Engineer Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team to assist in creating simulations for off-highway equipment companies using Simulink and LabVIEW. Your role will involve troubleshooting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and ensuring the development of quality software and electrical components for off-highway vehicles and vehicle parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems.

    + Create and execute test strategies based on requirements.

    + Perform analysis and create comprehensive test reports based on testing results.

    + Analyze CAN logs to identify inconsistencies.

    + Utilize Simulink, Veristand, and NI LabVIEW software solutions to control HIL systems.

    + Interface with customers to develop and meet project requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in electrical, software, or computer engineering, or related field.

    + 1-2 years of demonstrated experience with software testing.

    + Experience or understanding of CAN J1939 or other communication protocols.

    + Knowledge of Model Based Software Development (MATLAB/Simulink).

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    + Experience with TestStand and/or NI LabVIEW.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team.

    + Experience troubleshooting and debugging software.

    + Experience with HIL (Hardware in the Loop) or SIL (Software in the Loop) testing.

    + Understanding of electrical systems and schematics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in the off-highway industry.

    + Experience working in an Agile environment.

    + Familiarity with embedded C/C++ programming.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $48.08/hr.
