Responsibilities
Registered Nurse (RN) – PreOp
Central Arizona Endoscopy
As a PreOp RN, you will play a key role in preparing patients for procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and readiness. You’ll work closely with a skilled team of physicians and nurses to deliver compassionate, efficient care.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct thorough preoperative assessments (vitals, airway, cardiovascular, neurological, etc.)
+ Administer medications safely using the 8-rights of medication administration
+ Provide patient education and support for procedure preparation and recovery
+ Monitor and manage pain, comfort, and co-morbid conditions
+ Ensure infection control, wound integrity, and normothermia
+ Collaborate with the care team and provide accurate handoff reports
+ Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and privacy
+ Participate in team huddles, quality improvement, and ongoing training
Qualifications
+ Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
+ Current RN license in good standing (AZ)
+ 1+ year experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or Med/Surg preferred
+ BLS certification (or completion within 90 days)
+ ACLS certification (or completion within 90 days)
+ PALS certification (required if pediatric care is provided)
+ Specialty certification in Perioperative or Perianesthesia Nursing preferred
USD $35.00/Hr. USD $50.00/Hr.
