Job Title: Deposit Support Analyst III Job Description

We are seeking a Deposit Support Analyst III to join our financial operations team. This role is responsible for supporting and enhancing daily deposit operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external members. The ideal candidate will bring advanced knowledge of banking systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to help drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

+ Provide advanced support for deposit-related services including debit cards, online banking, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.

+ Resolve complex member inquiries and disputes, including fraud claims and chargebacks.

+ Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance processes, such as IRS filings, abandoned property, and IRA administration.

+ Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and improve service delivery.

+ Assist with onboarding and training of new team members and serve as a mentor to junior staff.

+ Support system upgrades and vendor implementations through testing and evaluation.

+ Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.

+ Generate monthly reports and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

+ Advanced knowledge of reporting, data analysis, and accounting.

+ Proficiency in month-end accounting, data entry, reconciliation, and bookkeeping.

+ Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.

+ 3-5+ years of experience in reporting, accounting, and data analysis.

+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Opportunity to earn AAP, APRP, AFPP, or NCP accreditation within 6 months of onboarding.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The team consists of 10 people and is very team-focused. You will primarily work at the Newburgh, NY site, but may need to travel to Middletown for training if required by the training team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newburgh, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $36.06/hr.
