    This position will not only support our Medical Center location but also our West Houston and Woodlands location on different days throughout the week. More will be learned in the interview process. The hours are Monday - Friday 10am-7pm

    JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

    Carry out lab duties that include purchasing, organization, EHS compliance and lab safety.**Responsible for major participation in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new platforms and assays. Monitors and maintains supply inventory so that work flow is not negatively affected.

     

    Other duties as assigned.

     

    High school diploma or equivalent. Education Preferred: Associate's degree. Three years of medical or laboratory research experience. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.

     

    This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening. The ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of such infrastructure is a condition of hire and continued employment.
