    Summary: Provides business and revenue expertise in Home Health. Collaborates with the Clinical Documentation Specialist and Coder of Home Health to ensure all billing opportunities are captured.

     

    Facilitates the development of collegial relationships with third-party payers. Should also have a solid understanding of what is required to run a Home Health office and OASIS.

     

    Education: College level education and Reimbursement Specialist training.

     

    Experience: 3 to 5 years or more of progressive experience in home health reimbursement, billing, and knowledge of third-party Home Health

    Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as files, books, etc. Involves sitting, walking, stooping, and reaching. However, as necessary, must be able to meet the physical requirements for staff level positions in the department(s).
