    Description

    Supports the implementation, management, and support of St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, and St. Joseph Hospital in Polson, Montana - acute and ambulatory Medication Assistance Program; Responsible to carry out the daily workflow, such as: Conduct patient interviews, Support patient financial applications and review for completeness, Assign level of poverty/access to medication assistance, Document in EPIC, Receive and encourage referrals for patient needs/access to care, Work within and facilitate manufacturer assistance programs, Develop workflows to efficiently and effectively track, monitor, support, evaluate, and direct the appropriate application of the defined policies and procedures supporting the Medication Assistance Program. Also assists community members in selecting appropriate Part B medical insurance plans based on their medical needs.

    Required qualifications:

    + Coursework/Training: State Health Insurance Certification required within one year of hire into the position.

    + 4 years Experience in a health care setting.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Coursework/Training: Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant, or Healthcare related area of study or equivalent experience/training.

    + Associate's Degree in Healthcare related area of study.

    + Lean Experience.
