    $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time and part-time new employees joining UW Medicine

    **UW Medicine UW Medical Center-Montlake** haS outstanding opportunities for **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT)** positions.

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse

    + Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating

    + Maintain a safe environment of care

    + Patient transportation

    + Prepare patients for surgery

    + Perform non-invasive lab procedures

    + Transport equipment and supplies

    + Assist with treatments

    + Perform various clerical tasks

    + Take vital signs

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)

    + High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.

    + Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date

    CURRENT OPENINGS:

    UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE

    + **5NE MED-SURG:** 60% FTE / Days 7am - 7:30pm (Wed/Sun)

    + **6NE MEDICAL** :90% FTE / Days 7am - 7:30pm (WK 1/3 - Wed/Thurs/Fri - WK 2/4 - Fri/Sat/Sun),

    + **6SA MED ONCOLOGY ICU:** 90% FTE / Evenings 11am - 11:30pm (Mon, Tues, Wed)

    + **6SE COMPLEX MED UNIT (PCU):** 60% FTE, Nights7pm - 7:30am

    + **7SA/7N MED-SURG:** 80% FTE / Evenings (No Schedule), 60% FTE / Days (No Schedule)

    + **7SA ONCOLOGY:** 60% FTE / Nights 7pm - 7:30am (Sat, Sun)

    + **NEONATAL ICU (NICU):** 60% FTE / Days 7am - 7:30pm (Mon, Tues), 60% FTE / Days 7am - 7:30pm (Wed, Thurs), 60% FTE / Nights 7pm - 7:30am (Wed, Thurs), 60% FTE / Nights 7pm - 7:30am (Fri, Sat)

    + **RESOURCE TEAM/FLOAT POOL:** 90% FTE, Variable Work Shifts (No set schedule), Per Diem, ALT

    Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

    Pay Range Minimum:

    $58,788.00 annual

    Pay Range Maximum:

    $84,168.00 annual

    Other Compensation:

    $5,000 Sign on bonus for 50%-100%

    Evening shift differential: $1.50

    Night shift differential: $2.25

    Weekend differential: $1.50
