Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

This position provides clerical and administrative support to the Enterprise Operations Department, which includes Warehouse and Purchasing. This position also receives, inventories, and packages shipments ensuring accuracy and damage-free transport to destination. Provides general warehouse support including assembling kits, organizing, and cleaning. Operates under direct supervision of the Warehouse Manager.

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Activities:

Able to lift/move 100+ pounds

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education / Certifications:

+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience / Skills:

+ One year of relevant work experience

+ Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics

+ Understanding of shipping requirements of commercial carriers and the Federal Government as they relate to size, weight, and type of container

+ Familiarity with warehouse safety requirements

+ bility to communicate effectively and professionally (verbal and written)

+ Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure

+ Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills

+ Ability to work overtime as necessary; generally, up to 4 hours per week, 12 weeks per year; often the last week of each month

+ Ability to meet physical requirements including: a variety of standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders; usage of pallet jacks and forklift (with required certification)

+ Computer experience and ability to learn required programs including Microsoft Great Plains, Word, Excel, and Salesforce a plus

+ Forklift experience a plus
