    Required Skills:

    Technical Sourcing/Commodity Specialist Responsibilities:

    1. Handles the development of commodity or category sourcing strategies, ensuring the suppliers are capable of meeting AR/Wearable's current and future technical and business requirements.

    2. Involve in the RFQ process, and driving final supplier selection in partnership with Electrical Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional partners.

    3. Responsible for supplier selection criteria, evaluating alternative suppliers.

    4. Utilizing contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead time, single source, Cost challenges and any supply issue.

    5. Develops Checks and Balances to optimize schedule flexibility while minimizing excess inventory exposure.

    6. Collaborate with MPMs (Material program managers) to resolve any part shortages which affect production schedules.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    7. Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Supply Chain, Engineering, Management, or related field

    8. Completion of one graduate-level coursework, research project or internship must include experience in the following:

    9. 1. Material management and CTB (Clear to Build)

    10. 2. Supplier evaluation/selection, Should Cost models, contract negotiation and supply base management

    11. 3. Related fields associated with ICs, semiconductor, Board Electricals

    12. 4. Semiconductor fabs, foundry management, backend and testing

    13. 5. Long term Supplier Strategy by focusing on Technical roadmap and Supply chain Expansion

    14. 6. Calculate Should Cost and negotiate with suppliers cost deals for NPI programs

    Public Compensation:

    $148,530/year to $157,520/year + bonus + equity + benefits
