The Resident Care Director provides leadership, direction and administration of nursing operations to assure that appropriate clinical services are provided to residents of Cedar Mountain Commons. The Resident Care Director has administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the functions, activities and standards of practice of the nursing staff. Will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the resident care department to ensure the highest quality care in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations. * Current CT Registered Nurse license required, BSN preferred. * Four or more years of progressive experience in nursing administration * One or more years in a home health care agency, community health program which included care of the sick at home or assisted living community. * Successful track record of managing and developing people and programs * Strong verbal and written communications skills required * The Orchards At Southington is part of Hartford HealthCare, a system that includes 7 acute care hospitals, a comprehensive Behavioral Health Network, Home Care services, Senior Services, and an extensive Medical Group network.
