REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent andone yearrelated experience. Completion of defensive driver course within30 daysof hire. Mustpossesscurrent Texas Class “C” driver’s license.

+ Current Texas Class “C” driver’s license
Job Summary
To provide for the routine operation and minor maintenance of university vehicles in the transportation of materials or passengers
Job Duties
+ Transfers patients and other assigned passengers on and/or off campus,assistingthem in entering and exiting vehicle.
+ Deliver and/orretrievesmaterials as instructed.
+ Assistsin the loading and unloading of materials fromvehicle.
+ Maintains daily log of mileage, number of trips, passengers/cargo, destination, and fuel and oil consumption.
+ Inspects condition of assigned vehicle on a regular basiswith regard tooil, fuel, tires, and water.
+ Reports any needed adjustments or repairs to supervisors.
+ Adheres to internal controlsestablishedfor department.
+ Performs related duties asrequired
Working Environment:
Lift andmove ofheavy objects. Drive vehicles under adverse weather conditions andhave the ability tocope with emergency driving situations
