Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking a Cable Installation Specialist to join their team. As a Cable Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining copper and fiber cabling infrastructure, supporting network connectivity across mission-critical environments, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure high-performance telecommunications systems are deployed with precision and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
**Job Title:** Cable Installation Specialist
**Location:** Madison County Parkway Canton MS
**Schedule:** 10-hour Shift | Monday to Thursday
**Contract:** 6 Month
**Pay Rate:** $34/hr. - $35.00
What's the Job?
+ Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect, and troubleshoot cabling
+ Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords
+ Ensure that the Data Center and vendor installations comply with all installation practices
+ Manage work and priorities through a ticketing system to complete customer requests and projects
+ Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain site cleanliness
+ Perform cable and fiber equipment installation and maintenance across various environments
+ Support low voltage cabling and network infrastructure, ensuring proper layout and connectivity
What's Needed?
+ Telecommunication systems expertise and familiarity with industry standards
+ Information Technology (IT) systems knowledge, including basic troubleshooting and integration
+ Cable and Fiber Equipment installation and maintenance experience.
+ Experience with low voltage (copper/fiber) cabling and network infrastructure
+ Strong written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals in various situations
+ Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical skills
+ Willingness to learn and apply new technology
