Our client, a college in Houghton, NY, is seeking a cleaner to join their team. As a Cleaner, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting the Campus Services Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Cleaner

**Location:** Houghton, NY

**Pay Range:** $15.75/hour

**Shift:** 6:30am-3:00pm

What’s the Job?

+ Temporary position - few weeks.

+ Clean and sanitize common areas and restrooms across campus

+ Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines

+ Maintain cleanliness of both interior and exterior campus areas

+ Perform outdoor duties including shoveling walkways when needed

What’s Needed?

+ **Must have own reliable vehicle**

+ Ability to work an 8-hour shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm

+ Experience with commercial or institutional cleaning preferred

+ Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

+ Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
