    Schedule: M-F days, Compressed Shifts

     

    Pay Rate: $32 - $40 Hourly, DOE

     

    Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.

    The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

    + Perform all existing routines and new processes following written procedures.

    + Provide oversight to less experienced technicians and ensure proper safety guidance by site protocols.

    + Troubleshoot electrical circuits using a multi-meter • Perform accurate, high-quality work on most assemblies without supervision.

    + Complete most processes independently once trained and qualified • Maintain and operate chemical and gas delivery equipment.

    + Identify mechanical components and perform non-invasive preventive maintenance.

    + Conduct daily rounds: verify purifier set points, record readings, calibrate analytical equipment, complete safety surveys, monitor inventory levels, and verify monitoring systems.

    + Maintain product inventories and perform container change-outs.

    Requirements:

    +  Must be able to work on their feet for extended periods and walk over 5 miles per shift.

    +  Basic lifting (up to 40 lbs).

    +   Bending of knees and overhead reaching.

    + Occasional ladder climbing with fall protection.

    +  May be required to wear a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator for chemical handling (approx. 10–15 minutes).

    +   PPE includes safety glasses, a hard hat, earplugs, chemical aprons, gloves, etc.

    +  Safety boots are required; vouchers will be provided for purchase.

    + 5 Years Overall Related Experience.

    + Advanced Technical Certificate or Associate of Science Degree in a related field.

    Physical Effort/Activities:

    May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
