    Anticipated Vacancy:

    Baldwinsville CSD has a full-time School Nurse vacancy. Under the direction of the School Nursing Supervisor and Building Principal, the School Nurse is responsible for providing direct school nursing services in an effort to promote prevention, medical management and academics. The School Nurse will assess and evaluate the health and developmental status of pupils in order to make a nursing diagnosis and establish a priority for action, interpret the health and developmental status of pupils to school personnel, parents and pupils as appropriate. Applicants must enjoy working with children of all ages.

     

    Position is an 8 hour per day job and is a 10 month position following the school calendar. Some days required in August for office setup and medication/medical supply drop off.

    Job Qualifications

    Applicants must meet all qualifications as defined by Onondaga County Civil Service, which includes holding a valid NYS license as a Registered Nurse and CPR/Adult & Pediatric AED certification.
