    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will contribute significantly to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end close processes. Your expertise will help drive efficient financial reporting and ensure compliance with industry standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.

    • Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.

    • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

    • Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for.

    • Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses to support business decisions.

    • Utilize and maintain accounting systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial inquiries and provide support.

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.

    • Leverage advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for data analysis.

    • Support audits and other financial reviews by providing documentation and detailed explanations.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

     

    • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

    • Familiarity with accounting systems like NetSuite or similar platforms.

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus.

    • Strong knowledge of general ledger and reconciliation processes.
