    Job Title: Interior Designer

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Interior Designer, where we create beautiful interior spaces that blend design and functionality. We seek a designer with a strong vision and proven experience in all stages of interior design, from conceptual design and selection of furnishings to detailed documentation. The ideal candidate must possess a strong work ethic and excellent leadership and communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Independently lead design projects with oversight from the Design Director and Project Manager.

    + Handle multiple projects and client interactions.

    + Manage all aspects of interior design, including programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.

    + Select and present furniture, finishes, and lighting selections.

    + Develop interior details and mentor junior team members in developing technical skills.

    + Produce presentation drawings that effectively and creatively communicate design ideas.

    + Work collaboratively to coordinate design and documents with other disciplines.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited school.

    + In-depth knowledge of finishes, materials, furniture, and specifications with particular experience in workplace and/or hospitality design.

    + Excellent graphic skills.

    + Advanced knowledge of current versions of REVIT and AutoCAD.

    + Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and InDesign, as well as 3D rendering software.

    + NCIDQ certification is preferred.

    + Experience in construction administration and project management.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.

The firm’s focus is broad and intellectually based, placing an emphasis on innovation and interdisciplinary practice. The firm has designed signature projects, including mixed-use residential communities, city plans, office and residential towers, cultural centers, and educational institutions, in California, Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas, Japan, and China.
