Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial operations and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and financial services, along with expertise in managing month-end close activities and general ledger functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

• Manage revenue and expense allocation to support organizational financial goals.

• Coordinate and review consolidations to streamline accounting procedures.

• Approve and review journal entries to maintain integrity in transaction records.

• Supervise account reconciliation processes to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Lead month-end close activities to meet reporting deadlines.

• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits to ensure compliance.

• Provide guidance and support to the accounting team to enhance operational efficiency.

• Utilize financial systems effectively to maintain accurate records and reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services.

• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and consolidations.

• Expertise in reviewing and approving journal entries and reconciliations.

• Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance procedures.

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external auditors.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
