Adecco is hiring for a Utility Operator – Third Shift

**Pay Range:** $17.00–$20.00/hour + 10% shift differential

**Location:** East Syracuse, NY

**Shift:** Full-Time, Third Shift

A long-established manufacturer specializing in prototyped and low-volume machined castings is seeking a **Utility Operator** to join its third shift team.

Job Summary:

Performs various support operations in plastics and finishing, including grit blasting, molding, secondary machining, sanding, and part preparation to meet production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Grit blast plastic molded parts using appropriate equipment

+ Perform plastic molding and related department tasks as trained

+ Conduct secondary operations: drilling, tapping (using flex arm, drills, Anilam machine), and fixture use

+ Mix filler and hardener per specifications; inspect and fill part voids

+ Sand, polish, and finish parts to job instructions

+ Verify part counts and route components per traveler documentation

+ Maintain quality and production standards

+ Support ISO quality processes and the Syteline MIS system

+ Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE

+ Keep work area clean and organized

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ At least 6 months of experience in surface finishing preferred

+ Ability to read and follow job travelers/specifications

+ Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to sit, reach, and handle parts/tools for extended periods

+ Lift up to 35 lbs as needed

**Pay Details:** $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
