Hospital EVS Manager

We’re looking for a Housekeeping Manager to lead our Environmental Services department and ensure our hospital maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.

This is a great opportunity for either a new professional ready to launch a career in healthcare operations or a seasoned professional with hands-on experience managing housekeeping teams in hospital or hospitality settings.

What you'll be doing:

+ Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff across multiple hospital units

+ Ensure all areas meet strict cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards

+ Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance

+ Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

+ Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

+ Collaborate with nursing, facilities, and infection control teams to address cleaning needs and priorities

+ Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment

+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

+ Assist in general cleaning duties.

Who we're looking for:

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field)

+ Strong leadership potential and organizational skills

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

OR

+ 4+ years of experience as a housekeeping lead or supervisor in a hospital or hotel setting

+ Proven ability to manage teams and maintain high standards of cleanliness

+ Familiarity with healthcare sanitation protocols and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

+ Experience with scheduling, inventory and audits

+ Knowledge of OSHA, Joint Commission, and infection control standards

+ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $33.65/hr.
