    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products from machines. The role involves visual inspection of products for defects, using micrometers and calipers to measure product tolerance, and following work orders, schematics, and light blueprints. The Production Associate will assist in troubleshooting machines when products do not meet quality standards, package products as needed, and perform light documentation. Basic math skills, an understanding of dimensions and tolerances, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift over 50 lbs. on a regular basis are essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform quality checks on products from machines.

    + Conduct visual inspections for product defects.

    + Use micrometers and calipers to measure product tolerance.

    + Follow work orders, schematics, and light blueprints.

    + Assist in troubleshooting machines if products are not up to quality standards.

    + Package products as needed.

    + Complete light documentation.

    Essential Skills

    + 6 months of manufacturing experience.

    + Proficiency in basic math with an understanding of dimensions and tolerances.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to lift over 50 lbs. regularly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with production, assembly, hand tools, food service, cabinet making, or plastic.

    + Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a manufacturing production environment where safety is paramount. You will be required to wear a safety hat, glasses, and steel-toed boots or shoes.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bozeman, Montana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
