    Job Title: Pipe Welder/Fitter

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in welding 2-inch Stainless Schedule 10 in a 6G position and 2-inch Schedule 40 Carbon in a 6G position, using 6010 root, 7018 fill, and 7018 cap techniques. All welding tasks will be performed using TIG welding methods. Stick welding is not required for this role.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG welding on stainless steel process pipes ranging from 6 inches to 8 inches, with some pipes as large as 16 inches.

    + Test and weld 2-inch Stainless Schedule 10 and 2-inch Schedule 40 Carbon in 6G positions.

    + Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.

    + Collaborate with team members to complete welding projects efficiently and effectively.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in TIG welding techniques.

    + Ability to weld in 6G position on both stainless steel and carbon steel.

    + Experience with 6010 root, 7018 fill, and 7018 cap welding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working with stainless steel process pipes.

    + Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.

    Work Environment

    Work will be conducted in an ethanol plant, requiring appropriate attire such as jeans, boots, and a work shirt. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 6 AM to 4:30 PM. As one of the first team members on site, you will play a crucial role in setting high standards and contributing to a positive work environment.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $37.00/hr.
