    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks. Your duties will include adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments to sustain and improve operations, repairing or replacing defective parts, and reconditioning or repairing machine tools. You will identify necessary parts, supplies, and repair items to ensure smooth operations and provide support and backup for other department members as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance.

    + Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.

    + Repair or replace defective parts and recondition machine tools.

    + Identify needed parts, supplies, and repair items.

    + Provide support and backup for other department members as needed.

    + Ensure compliance with Maintenance Industry Standards.

    + Understand GMP's, continuous improvement, and Quality Control.

    + Assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.

    + Participate in CI activities focusing on processes, results, and cost savings.

    + Setup and operate simple machining operations like lathe, drill press, and grinder.

    + Perform basic welding tasks.

    + Update records and review CMMS history.

    + Perform basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance technician skills.

    + Proficiency in pneumatics and hydraulics.

    + In-depth troubleshooting PLC-S skills.

    + Ability to read a Multi Meter.

    + Experience with electrical troubleshooting in industrial/manufacturing settings.

    + Experience with electrical equipment.

    + Good team player and multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment.

    + Fluent in English.

    + Mechanical and/or electrical background with at least 2 years of experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
