    Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, where you will apply your expertise in electro-mechanical assembly, wire harnessing, and sub-assembly to work on large X-ray equipment used for scanning cargo and trucks. Your role will involve system integration of sub-assemblies into larger products, requiring keen troubleshooting skills and the ability to read schematics.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform system integration of sub-assemblies into larger equipment.

    + Conduct wire harnessing and electrical and mechanical assembly.

    + Troubleshoot to identify and resolve issues that may arise.

    + Work collaboratively with a team of technicians on large X-ray equipment.

    + Stand for long periods while performing assembly tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in EM Assembly Skills.

    + Skilled in wire harnessing and sub-assembly.

    + Ability to read schematics.

    + Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

    + Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.

    + 3-5 years of experience in a similar field.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Comfortable standing for extended periods.

    + Experience in military manufacturing is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is clean, open, and team-oriented, with large products handled in a spacious area. The team consists of 148 employees, with 5 members dedicated to assembly tasks. Currently, the role is for the 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility available.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BILLERICA, Massachusetts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
