Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Associate, where you will be responsible for trimming excess rubber, checking parts for defects, and painting grooves in parts with glue using small brushes. You will also be involved in molding processes to ensure high-quality production.

Responsibilities

+ Trim excess rubber from parts.

+ Inspect parts for any defects.

+ Paint grooves in parts with glue using small brushes.

+ Participate in molding operations.

+ Operate various machinery as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with small parts and general production processes.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools.

+ At least 6 months of manufacturing experience is preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Capability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.

Work Environment

Work in a large, open manufacturing setting that includes a machine shop, molding, bonding (machine presses), and warehouse areas. The environment is safe and clean, with teams distributed across different shifts: 67 people on the 1st shift, 40 on the 2nd shift, and 5 on the 3rd shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
