    Job Title: Payroll/Garnishment Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Garnishment Specialist to manage and process various garnishments such as IRS levies, child support, student loans, bankruptcies, and credit agency requests using Oracle Payroll and HR system. This role requires extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding wage garnishments.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately process all garnishments into Oracle Payroll and HR system.

    + Work with various reports out of Oracle and ADP.

    + Audit new and revised garnishments to ensure accuracy of information.

    + Answer and notarize wage worksheets, mailing them back to the respective agency.

    + Send notifications to affected employees regarding their garnishment status.

    + Assist employees with questions pertaining to their wage writ.

    + Handle incoming mail daily and perform other tasks related to the position.

    Essential Skills

    + Extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding wage garnishments.

    + Proficiency in Oracle systems required

    + Ability to work with general ledger, accounting, month-end, and balance sheet tasks.

    + Excel analysis skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 4+ years of garnishment experience.

    + Experience with ADP Smart Compliance is a plus.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
