ETL Data Engineer

Full-time contract to hire | Hybrid | Monday to Friday, HST

Description

• Data Integration & Management – Expertise in joining and manipulating data from multiple sources, including relational databases and big data platforms (Example tools: Hadoop, Hive, Splunk).

• Reporting & Visualization Tools – Proficiency in building dashboards and reports using SSRS, Tableau, ServiceNow, Performance Analytics, ThoughtSpot, and similar BI tools.

• Advanced Analytics & Data Science – Experience applying statistical methods and programming (R, Python, or similar) to develop predictive and actionable business insights.

• Cloud & Data Pipelines – Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and modern data pipeline development (batch and enterprise data).

• Operational Metrics & KPIs – Skilled in creating executive-level dashboards, management reporting, and performance metrics tailored to business and IT services.

• Requirement Gathering & Business Partnership – Ability to work with management and SMEs to translate business needs into effective data solutions, while influencing outcomes to maximize value.

• Communication & Storytelling – Strong ability to interpret complex data, explain difficult concepts clearly, and communicate insights with measurable business impact.

• Problem-Solving & Process Improvement – Identifies trends, opportunities, and process improvements that create value, efficiency, or risk reduction.

• Project & Time Management – Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and large data sets while prioritizing work to meet organizational needs.

• Collaboration & Leadership – Collaborates across teams, manages conflicts, and influences stakeholders through strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
