As a Maintenance Technician at DRT a dsm-firmenich company, you are a teammate that places safety first. In this role, you are well versed in mechanical and electrical maintenance with knowledge of troubleshooting, reading blueprints and can work as a team player with different sets of skills.
Your key responsibilities
+ Leverage knowledge and ability to operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools
+ Demonstrate experience in maintenance trades and components (ex. Low voltage electrical (480V and less), PLC, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, valves, mechanical maintenance, steam system, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
+ Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility, with limited direction in a SAP system. Document completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software and interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations
+ Operating forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts following standard production documentation to deliver to the correct location
+ Troubleshooting, repairing and installing process equipment including but not limited to motors, pumps, instrumentation loops for pressure/level/temperature/flow, filters, cooling lower, heat exchangers, fans, agitators, vacuum pumps, burners, pressure vessels, storage tanks, relief valves, steam traps, and power distribution network.
+ Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

You bring
+ High School Diploma with Trade School Certificate or equivalent is required
+ 5 years or more of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing industry facility.
+ Experience utilizing SAP
+ Experience in reading blueprints and manuals is required
+ Experience with Control Valves, Industrial Reliability, Welding, Boilers, Wastewater, and Cooling Towers is a plus
