We are hiring an **Electrical Engineer** in support of Strategic and Trusted Microelectronics.

Essential Responsibilities:

The individual will be working to develop tests for memory, FPGAs, CPUs, ASIC or other digital devices within radiation environments. Tasking may include:

+ Writing software to interact with devices

+ Creating post-processing scripts in Python to analyze data, and documenting findings

+ Individuals may be asked to present findings at conferences or share with the radiation effects community depending on customer requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 or more years of job-related experience.

+ 3+ years VHDL or Verilog experience necessary

+ 2+ years Python Experience necessary

+ Strong technical writing background

+ Ability to travel, as required.

+ Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance with an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start (Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 3 + years printed circuit board design strongly preferred

+ Deep knowledge of device physics in semiconductors strongly preferred

+ Deep knowledge of radiation effects in semiconductors strongly preferred

+ 3+ years Developing/Testing microelectronics preferred

+ Knowledge of High-Speed digital design best practices preferred

+ Familiarity of LabVIEW strongly preferred

+ Experience with semiconductor fabrication tools and processes

+ Active Secret Clearance
