Occupational Therapist (OT) | $68/hr | Full-Time | Bakersfield, CA | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy services for the 2025–2026 academic year in Bakersfield, CA. This in-person role begins September 15, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks. The OT will conduct student evaluations, implement individualized therapy plans, and maintain documentation in accordance with each student’s plan of care.

Position Overview

+ Start Date: September 15, 2025

+ Duration: 36 weeks

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

+ Pay Rate: $68/hour

+ Modality: In-person only

+ Setting: School-based (specific campus details TBD)

Responsibilities

+ Perform evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans

+ Provide direct occupational therapy services to students

+ Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy into classroom routines

+ Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IEP goals and district standards

Minimum Requirements

+ Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice

+ One year of professional OT experience (preferred)

+ CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate (if applicable)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
