JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Unit/Department Director, this position is assigned managerial and clinical responsibilities of the nursing unit/department and staff related to the coordination and operation of the department/unit. Team member whose responsibilities include leading, managing, and influencing the daily operational activities associated with the assigned team. Supports the overall business plan by monitoring team performance and outcomes relative to established goals/ measurements.

Participates in rotational on-call duties including, but not limited to, responding to emergency situations, maintenance malfunctions, or staffing situations that require coverage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Four years of experience

Must be a team member on the department/unit for which candidate is applying or have previous

leadership experience

Current California RN License

Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA

Current PALS certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

The current salary range for this position is $86.06 to $118.33
