    A Brief Overview

    A Supervisor of Order Management leads a team that is accountable for the successful execution and fulfillment of program specific orders. Reporting to a leader within Order Management, an individual in this role is responsible for overseeing the results produced by his/her team, providing training and direction to employees, monitoring work quality and coaching on performance. Supervisors of Order Management supports the growth and development of individual contributors on their team. This individual also applies a continuous improvement mindset, ensures new programs are onboarded using best practices, makes recommendations on process and/or system enhancements and propagates a continuous improvement culture across the team. Supervisors of Order Management own building and maintaining high-performance relationships with customers and all supporting teams resulting in the achievement of customer SLA's and outcomes. Supervisors are required to take a proactive, detailed, and timely approach to communication and help identify and mitigate risk early to prevent customer-impacting issues.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Oversees day to day operations. Accountable for results produced by his/her team during the entire lifecycle of a WWT Order from creation to final product delivery to the customer. This level of order management requires deep level of supply chain systems and process knowledge.

    + Proactively communicate in a clear and concise manner to internal and external customers

    + Accountable for the execution and cross-functional collaboration throughout WWT Supply Chain

    + Responsible for team achievement and improvement in Team KPIs through operational excellence and process improvement

    + Utilizes data to understand team's capacity & bandwidth and level load work accordingly

    + Applying a continuous improvement mindset to enhance current processes and measure success

    + Ensuring that new customers and programs are onboarded properly to ensure customer delight, operational effectiveness, and corporate & industry standards are applied

    + Creating operational and customer-driven reporting and insights utilizing business intelligence tools to drive action

    + Ensures direct customer interaction results in customer delight and supports team through customer escalations and issues

    + Training, coaching and guiding the development of the team on standard policies, procedures and best practices while promoting professional growth

    + Monitoring staff performance and identifying opportunities for individual and team improvement

    + Offering assistance and guidance in Orders Management staffing and hiring decisions

    + Promote the World Wide Technology Integrated Management and Leadership tools and concepts

    + Supports execution of Order Management Strategic Vision

    + Perform employee reviews and assessments

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field required.

    Work Experience:

    + 3+ years of supply chain related experience, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment.

    + 2+ years of management experience

    + Previous experience in a customer facing role and understanding of the order management process (quote-to-cash) is required.

    + Provides clear and productive direction to their team via thorough planning and effective communication

    + Does not avoid difficult conversations but addresses challenging direct reports in a timely manner through effective coaching

    + This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done and deliver customer delight.

    + The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands

    + Standard business hours are generally observed, with work from home schedules and flexibility on start/end times, and there may also be opportunities for overtime and periodic domestic/international travel (up to 10%)

    + This role will be expected to work in an open-office environment with desk sharing/hoteling practices

    + Travel between our Maryland Heights, MO and Edwardsville, IL locations is common

    + Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine assignments

    + Ability to demonstrate a work ethic consistent with WWT's Core Values

     

    Licenses and Certifications

     

    APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) - Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) preferred

    Work is accomplished with limited direction. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.

     

    Compensation/ Benefits

     

    Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $76,000-95,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
