    ### Job Duties

    Shifts available include every other weekend and every other holiday. Wage dependent on experience; shift differentials for evenings, overnights and weekend shifts.

     

    Ingleside is looking for Personal Care Assistant staff to help our residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care unit. Job duties include the following:

     

    Assist residents in and out of bed as needed.

     

    Bathes, dresses and assists residents with ambulation.

     

    Assist and/or escort residents to the dining room for meals.

     

    Take and records resident’s vital signs.

     

    Administers prescribed oral medications under written direction of a Physician or as directed by the Nurse.

     

    Dresses wounds and performs other prescribed treatments delegated by the Registered Nurse.

     

    Collects samples from residents for testing purposes such as urine and stool.

     

    Documents services performed on residents.

     

    Reports any and all changes in resident’s conditions to the Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse.

     

    Assembles and uses such equipment as catheters, ileostomy and oxygen supplies delegated by the Registered Nurse.

     

    Sterilizes equipment and supplies.

     

    Follow the Mandated Care Competency Training requirements.

    Preference for applications with LTC experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care settings.
