Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a candidate to support the delivery and alignment of high-security cybersecurity programs across multiple domains. The Program Manager will be instrumental in driving stakeholder collaboration, promoting accountability, and ensuring consistent execution across diverse teams. This role is foundational, with future hires expected to follow its lead.
- Drive delivery of cybersecurity initiatives across threat management domains including detection/response, vulnerability management, insider risk, and threat intelligence.
- Lead cross-functional projects to advance capabilities in SOC operations, incident response, security automation, insider risk, and converged threat monitoring.
- Establish and manage structured intake processes for program requests, ensuring transparency, prioritization, and timely execution.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment across IT, OT, Legal, HR, Privacy, and Enterprise Risk teams.
- Promote accountability and ownership across remediation teams, especially in response to complex findings (e.g., penetration test results).
- Develop and automate metrics and reporting to demonstrate risk reduction, resilience improvements, and business impact.
- Track and manage program risks, interdependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Create governance frameworks, playbooks, and dashboards for scalable and repeatable program delivery.
- Partner with Finance and Sourcing to manage procurement lifecycles, including vendor evaluations and renewals.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline, or equivalent professional/military/government experience.
5+ years of experience in program or project management within cybersecurity, technology, or risk management functions.
Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable results in a global organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present metrics and outcomes to executive audiences.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving process improvements.
Experience operating in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, defense contractors). 6+ years of program management experience focused on cybersecurity.
Familiarity with threat detection, incident response, insider risk, and vulnerability management.
Experience with procurement, vendor management, and technology adoption in complex security programs.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (SOX, SEC, NIS2, etc.).
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or GIAC.
Experience working with or within high maturity organizations (e.g., Lockheed Martin, SAIC, Booz Allen Hamilton).
Ability to recommend and implement consistent KPIs and metrics across diverse teams.
Versatility in navigating different team processes and driving alignment across functions.
