• Senior Cloud Security Engineer

    Job Description

    We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead the design, automation, and security of our cloud infrastructure. This hybrid role blends deep cloud engineering expertise with a security-first mindset, ensuring our systems are scalable, resilient, and secure by design. You’ll be instrumental in driving infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and embedding security across the software development lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Cloud Architecture & Engineering: Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP

    • DevSecOps Enablement: Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, automate compliance checks, and enforce secure coding practices

    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain IaC templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools

    • Security Automation: Develop tools and scripts to automate vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and policy enforcement

    • Monitoring & Incident Response: Set up observability tools, respond to cloud security incidents, and perform root cause analysis

    • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, security teams, and SREs to ensure cloud environments meet performance and security standards

    • Governance & Compliance: Implement guardrails to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA)

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

    • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or security engineering

    • Deep expertise in AWS (Azure and GCP are a plus)

    • Strong proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools

    • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS)

    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

    • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, and network security

    • Programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud Architect

    • Experience with zero trust architecture and secure service mesh

    • Knowledge of secrets management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)

    • Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Lacework)

    • Contributions to open-source DevSecOps or cloud security projects null
