Job Description
A large software and gaming company is looking for a Remote PST - QC Artist/Production Designer to join a growing team.
This role requires an understanding and strong foundation of design principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to ensure our team (via QC) has effectively translated and executed the creative vision and direction efficiently and consistently across hundreds of iterative deliverables. This role will be a blended role primarily focused on the QC efforts across our team. At this time, QC will not be a full-time role, so we expect you will lean in on two other areas: production of assets and assisting our asset management team. We are looking for someone who is curious, creatively driven, production savvy, and insanely detail-oriented.
In this role, you will
• Quality Control
• Ensures production deliverables are meeting or exceeding accuracy and
quality standards based on supplied content from producers and creatives.
• Creates and maintains QC workflows, checklists, and documentation for the
Creative Services Studio.
• When possible, suggest improvements to file production processes that would enhance our workflows, especially where quality and consistency are concerned.
• Asset & Brand Management
• Support metadata creation and organization, including QCing records.
• Enter metadata entries based on the visual properties of our assets.
• Assisting our asset management team, as needed, with the accurate and
timely ingestion of both new and backlog assets to our DAM.
• Assist our brand team with the creation and maintenance of guidelines in our brand management tool, Brand Hub/Frontify.
• General
• Provide cross-team support and backup for production artists as needed.
• Willingness to occasionally work on-call and/or over weekends. (This is not
the norm, and will be communicated as early as possible. These situations
only arise a few times a year, during our critical launch seasons 3–5 times a
year. Additionally, this responsibility is rotated/shared so not every artist is on
every season.

Skills and Requirements
•Highly organized with a keen eye for details, and the ability and willingness to QC a myriad of assets.
• 2–5 years experience as a production designer. Ideally, some of which is in a fast-paced graphics environment (agency, in-house, etc.)
• Strong production portfolio. A design portfolio is acceptable, but we must see
examples of iterative design at scale, preferably with localization elements included.
• Excellent craft, typographic, and layout skills.
• Good understanding of digital advertising best practices.
• Advanced skills in design software (Adobe Suite, Sketch, Figma).
• Willingness to learn new tools that help power scaled production design.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment to meet deliverables.
• Must have their own hardware that can handle heavy processing; any OS is fine.
• Proficient knowledge of professional English. ●Gaming Background null
