Job Description

Insight Global is looking to identify an Account Manager to join a full service HVAC, building automation, and retrofit contractor in Riverside County. This individual will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, delivering product and service information to clients, and maintaining strong, ongoing client relationships. This role involves creating and presenting sales proposals, managing client pricing and payments, overseeing accounts receivable, supporting quality assurance efforts, and representing the company at industry events and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and research potential clients and projects through outreach to Chief Engineers, Property Managers, Asset Managers, and other key contacts

• Utilize various methods—calls, site visits, conferences, online research, and existing networks—to generate leads

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients

• Collaborate with Sales and Branch Managers, as well as internal teams, to enhance account strategies and achieve business objectives

• Analyze client needs and develop solution-based programs to drive sales growth, volume, and profitability

• Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations

• Draft and review client proposals, including technical and financial components, using standardized templates and pricing models

• Achieve sales targets while maintaining defined profit margins

• Communicate effectively with internal departments such as Operations, Chiller Teams, Project Management, and Sales

• Commit to continuous professional development through training and participation in company-sponsored learning opportunities

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC services or a related industry

• Technical background, ideally in Facilities Management or Operations & Maintenance

• Strong presentation, sales, and financial analysis skills, including cost modeling

• Ability to make independent decisions and manage multiple priorities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Competitive, articulate, goal-driven, and energetic • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field null
