    Job Description

    healthcare insurance provider is seeking a versatile Data Engineer/Data Analyst to support organizational reporting and accreditation efforts, specifically around HEDIS accreditation. This role involves translating Quality Assurance (QA) requirements into clear business rules and technical specifications, while performing in-depth analysis across various data types including claims, member, and provider data. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing data issues, interpreting complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights. Strong technical skills are essential, particularly in Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with hands-on experience querying data using BigQuery. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and support accreditation-related reporting initiatives.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    3+ years of experience within Data Engineering, Data Analysis, or related position

     

    Experience with Python and SQL

     

    Experience with GCP and Bigquery

    Insurance background Experience with HEDIS or NCQA null
