    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Client Analytics BI Engineer for one of their premier clients in Houston. The Client Analytics BI Engineer works closely with the Client Solutions Manager and development teams to lead the analysis, design, and implementation of EDI and business intelligence projects. This role involves gathering customer requirements, documenting detailed project plans, and supporting testing efforts to ensure successful delivery. Leveraging deep expertise in EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML, the engineer proposes effective solutions and collaborates with developers to execute them. He / She will be performing quality assurance testing on new application builds, coordinating with clients, and integrating management feedback into project execution. The BI Engineer also develops meeting agendas, applies project standards consistently, and manages multiple tasks efficiently. Additionally, the role includes preparing reports, flow diagrams, and charts to optimize data processes, conducting gap and scope analyses, and ensuring high-quality output aligned with client and business needs.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years of experience as a BI Engineer using Snowflake and DBT

     

    -Heavy Knowledge / Experience using SQL

     

    -Extensive knowledge with EDI and previous experience supporting EDI Projects

    -In past roles he / she has worked heavily with the end client null
