    Job Description

    Designers will be working on ongoing remodeling projects with our client in Smyrna, GA. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience with retail floor design, using AutoCAD as they work on 20-25 projects ranging from specific departments, flooring, cash register relocation, etc. They will be working with a PM and a Manager for the requirements and project plan, taking the data from excel and putting together the design within AutoCAD, publishing after final review is signed off.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 1-3 years AutoCAD design experience

    o Taking project plans/requirements and turning them into floorplans

    o Working with PM and Managers on redlining drafts, working with in parameters of project specs

    • Experience with Merchandise/ Product Sets in the retail environment

    o Design/ draft to increase sales, maximize inventory turns, ensure product display

    o Floor plan strategy

    • Excel, MS office

    o Organizing data sheets, v lookups

    o Proficiency within the office suite as requirements and project plans will be distributed/ tracked within Sort lists

    • Degree- at least an AA degree • Retail/ Warehouse design experience null
