    Job Description

    A large federal integrator is looking for an ISSO Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in CA. The Cyber Security Engineer will have familiarity with all controls, assessment and security overlay for both technical and administrative/documentation procedures. This is a hands on technical position and candidates should have experience directly using a windows/Linux operating system. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to monitor and manage cybersecurity workforce improvement.

    Compensation:

    $70/hr to $90/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of

    the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this

     

    role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Active Secret Clearance (TS/SCI eligible)

     

    - Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience in Cyber Security

     

    - Active DoD 8570 lvl 3 (CISSP, CASP+, CCNP, CISA, GCED, GCIH)

     

    - Understanding of RMF process and NIST 800-53 controls

     

    - Manual hardening and compliance experience

    - Experience with ACAS scans, SCAP Compliance Checker and STIG viewer

    - Basic understanding of Linux OS and Windows operating systems. Active TS/SCI null
