As a **Civil Engineering Intern** you’ll be involved in meaningful project work, gaining hands-on experience in transportation, water/wastewater, and site development projects. This opportunity will be based at our  **Minneapolis, MN** office during the **Summer of 2026,** where you will be working alongside experienced professionals who are excited to help you grow!

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Perform routine civil engineering support tasks under the direction of an engineer

    + Assist with transportation design, storm water modeling, CAD drafting, quantity take-offs, plan/permit preparation, report writing and research

    + Perform construction observation for municipal and transportation projects

    + Conduct construction measurements and documentation, quantity reporting, plan and specification review, and contractor/client coordination

    Required Qualifications:

    + Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + GPA of 3.0 or greater

    + Previous Civil Engineering experience through an internship or co-op

    + Basic level experience using AutoCad

     

    The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses.
