    Responsibilities:

    + Serve as the Lead Electrical/Liaison Engineer, Avionics across all IPT's within the SAOC program.

    + Primarily responsible for problem solving and facilitating action between Ops, MX & Engineering.

    + You will support the Aircraft Liaison Managers, SEIT & SAOC program leadership.

    + You will be a responsible team member fielding the weapon system - 747-8, ground support equipment, trainer & systems integration lab.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline

    + Typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

    + Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

    + Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices

    + Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools

    + Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

    + Working knowledge of Avionics Engineering in support of avionics subsystem definition, development, integration and testing

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project products

    + Working knowledge of CATIA or similar desktop drafting application

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Top Secret Security Clearance

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis

    + Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

    + Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis

    + Familiarity with design requirements related to High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL)

    + Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes

    + Familiar with Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)

    + Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture

    + Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools

    + Familiar with 14 CFR Parts 21, 25, 26, 43, 91, 121, 125, 135, and 145

    + Familiar with required compliance criteria of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and other FAA and OEM documentation
