    Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Senior Quality Assurance Manager

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Establish and lead the strategic vision for food safety, sanitation, and quality at the North Little Rock facility.

    + Ensure all products meet federal, state, local, and industry standards, including SQF 2000 and GFSI regulations.

    + Manage and develop the Quality Department team, including coaching, training, and performance appraisals.

    + Collaborate with corporate quality teams, regulatory agencies, and third-party auditors to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

    + Oversee sanitation programs, root cause investigations, and corrective actions to uphold a safe and hygienic production environment.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing, preferably in a bakery setting.

    + Strong knowledge of food safety regulations such as FSMA, HACCP, USDA/FDA, and GFSI standards.

    + Relevant certifications like PCQI, HACCP, SQF/BRC Practitioner, or Internal Auditor are preferred.

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Engineering, or related field.

    + Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-site quality systems and teams effectively.
