Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join their team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be part of the sanitation department supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of the production environment. This is a temp to hire opportunity.

**Job Title:** Sanitation Technician 2ND & 3RD Shift

**Location:** Shirley, NY

**Pay Range:** $19.75- $20.75

**Shift:** 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2nd Shift) / 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (3rd Shift)

What's the Job?

+ Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of production equipment and areas in accordance with quality and food safety standards.

+ Responsible for cleaning soiled supplies and equipment used in the production process.

+ Perform maintenance cleaning on production machinery, including scrubbing processing tanks and cleaning floors.

+ Efficiently disassemble and assemble production equipment for proper cleaning.

+ Keep accurate cleaning records of equipment and areas in accordance with sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs).

What's Needed?

+ **Experience in Sanitation at a manufacturing facility (pharma or food preferred).**

+ **SPANISH REQUIRED**

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

+ Knowledge of proper chemical handling and safety procedures.

+ Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
