Our client, a manufacturing organization focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement, is seeking an Operations Intern to join their team. As an Operations Intern, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting the Operational Excellence Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Operations Intern

**Pay Range:** $25 per hour

**Shift:** 1st Shift, 9 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

+ Support the implementation of Lean transformation and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes

+ Participate in Gemba walks, kaizens, and support employees on continuous improvement activities

+ Assist in developing and improving visual work aids for assembly lines

+ Conduct cycle time analyses, time studies, and workplace improvements

+ Support lean disciplines, 5-S initiatives, and internal audits to enhance operational efficiency

What's Needed?

+ Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field

+ 0 to 2 years of related work or internship experience

+ Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with effective time management

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
