Description
Leading film studio seeks an experienced Box Office Revenue Analyst to monitor and analyze theatrical revenue performance, manage exhibitor relationships, and ensure accurate revenue collection across our theatrical releases. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of exhibition business models and studio-exhibitor partnerships.
Key job responsibilities
• Apply bank deposits received from theatrical customers
• Import box office electronic files and process manual reports
• Review daily estimated grosses for discrepancies
• Review flash and final box office reports
• Send customer A/R statements and resolve payment discrepancies
• Maintain theatrical booking system with new and transferred theatres + business entities
• Monitor and take action on delinquent payments
• Coordinate with distribution team on release strategies
• Monitor theatrical performance
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite applications
• Knowledge of theatrical booking and accounting software systems
• Understanding of theatrical distribution sales and revenue split practices
Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of credit policies and collection procedures
• Knowledge of financial compliance and auditing standards
• Ability to reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $78,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
